# Superior Double Room

> Our Superior Double Rooms are comparable in size and facilities to a Junior Suite. Spanning approximately 35 m², they feature a spacious combined living and sleeping area, a bathroom with a corner bath, a separate toilet and an entrance hall. From the garden-facing rooms, you can enjoy views of our peaceful, leafy courtyard from the balcony or terrace and through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The street-facing Superior Rooms are situated on the 4th or 5th floor, overlooking the quiet avenue lined with 35-year-old hackberry trees. Please feel free to ask us for your preferred location when booking directly!

A cosy seating area and a flat-screen TV with digital satellite reception are available for your relaxation. Heated porcelain stoneware flooring and air conditioning are, of course, provided.

## Garden-facing with balcony/terrace and garden view

The garden-facing Superior Rooms feature a balcony or terrace with a table and chairs.

The garden view and the peace and quiet of the leafy courtyards, with their many trees, create an oasis in the city – listen to the birdsong in the morning!

Furthermore, all garden-facing Superior Rooms can comfortably accommodate a third person on a sofa bed or fold-out bed.

## Streetside yet quiet

The superior rooms facing the street offer the same amenities and size as those facing the garden, but do not have a balcony. Thanks to their location on the upper floors (from the 4th floor upwards) and the double-glazed windows, you needn’t worry about street noise. Furthermore, our hotel is situated in a quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac with little traffic.

A third person can also be accommodated in these rooms on a pull-out sofa or extra bed. In some rooms, the comfortable sofa bed can also accommodate two additional people or children – please ask us about this when booking directly!

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Who are the Superior Double Rooms best suited for?

The Superior Double Rooms are ideal for
* couples who want more space than is available in standard double rooms
* those seeking peace and quiet who wish to stay close to the city centre without the hustle and bustle of the city centre
* families with one child; some rooms are also suitable for families with two children (please enquire directly)

### How many people can stay in the room?

Standard occupancy is 2 people. In all Superior Double Rooms, a third person can be accommodated on a pull-out sofa or fold-out bed; in some rooms facing the street, up to two additional people or children can be accommodated on a pull-out sofa with a comfortable mattress (available on request only for direct bookings).

### Do the rooms have a balcony?

All garden-facing Superior Double Rooms from the first floor upwards have a balcony. One Superior Double Room on the ground floor of the courtyard building has a terrace overlooking our landscaped inner courtyard. The street-facing Superior Rooms do not have a balcony.

### Is the room equipped with air conditioning?

Yes, all our rooms are fitted with individually controlled air conditioning and undergo a thorough annual inspection.

### What is the difference between a Superior Double Room and a Standard Double Room?

Our superbly appointed Superior Double Rooms feature a spacious, open-plan living/sleeping area with a seating area. At around 35 m², they are significantly larger than the Standard Rooms and are therefore more akin to a Junior Suite. The garden-facing Superior Double Rooms all have a balcony or terrace overlooking the tree-lined, green and peaceful inner courtyard.

### Are all Superior Double Rooms the same?

No, our rooms are situated in a historic building and a small, modern extension in the garden. As a result, the floor plans of each room differ from one another. Nevertheless, you will feel equally at home in all of them. Each room is unique and individually designed, whilst we have ensured that the style and comfort are consistent throughout. If you would like to book a specific room, please contact us directly.
